Beginner Boxing
Level 1

Beginner Boxing

Our secret sauce.

Everyone starts their boxing journey for different reasons — and this class is built to meet you where you are. You'll learn the fundamentals of boxing including stance, defense, movement, and striking. At the same time, you'll develop confidence and comfort in your own body. No two fighters move the same, and that's the beauty of boxing: your unique strengths are what make your style your own. We focus on breaking down the fear and misconceptions around boxing — you do not need to get beat up to learn this sport. Our goal is to create a supportive, high-energy environment where you can build skill, confidence, and control at your own pace. If you're brand new to boxing, we highly recommend starting here or pairing this class with 1:1 sessions with one of our coaches for an even stronger foundation.

Glove Up Boxing
Level 2

Glove Up Boxing

Where your foundation comes to life.

Level 2 is where your foundation begins to come together with confidence and flow. This class is designed for those who already have a solid understanding of boxing fundamentals. While our coaches will always support you, the pace, structure, and expectations of the class remain consistent — so it's important to come in ready to build on what you know. Each 60-minute session starts right at the bell with an elevated, boxer-inspired warm-up featuring our signature conditioning flow, rhythmic footwork, and movement-based preparation. From there, the class moves through a seamless progression of bag rounds, mitt work, partner drills, and strength training. Every element is designed to improve technique, build endurance, sharpen focus, and develop confidence. Arrive prepared, hands wrapped, and ready to move with purpose.

Open Gym

Open Gym

Train on your schedule.

Drop in and use the full facility on your own terms. Heavy bags, double-end bags, speed bags, and conditioning equipment — all available during open gym hours. No structured instruction.

Exclusively scheduled. Built around your group.

Our private group training sessions are exclusively scheduled and led by our coaching staff to deliver a focused, high-quality experience tailored to your group. To inquire about availability or to schedule a session, contact jay@gloveupstl.com. Every group is different and that's exactly how we treat it. Whether you're brand new to training or already athletic and experienced, we place you in the right environment so you can get the most out of every session. Beginners receive clear guidance and structure, while more advanced groups are pushed with higher intensity and more dynamic training. Our coaches bring a deep background in multiple martial arts disciplines combined with strength and conditioning expertise — no matter your starting point, we'll find the right fit for you.

Direct coaching. Built entirely around you.

Our one-on-one training sessions are exclusively scheduled and led by our coaching staff for individuals who benefit most from direct, face-to-face coaching and personalized attention. What To Expect

Here's how your first class will go.

    Arrive 10 minutes early

    Give yourself time to get situated, introduce yourself to a coach, and get your gear sorted. First timers get hand wraps with the trial pass.

  2. 02

    Warm-up together

    Every class starts with a structured warm-up. Follow along — it's designed to get you ready for the session ahead.

  3. 03

    Technique is the priority

    Don't worry about keeping up. Coaches focus on your form first. Power and speed come with time.

  4. 04

    Cool down & community

    Classes end with a cool down and stretch. It's also the best time to connect with other members.
